Hisko Hulsing
HISKO HULSING (Amsterdam – 1971). Hisko Hulsing majored in painting and animation at the art academy of Rotterdam in 1995. Besides writing, directing, painting and animating, Hisko composes the orchestral soundtracks for his own films.
Hisko made illustrations and storyboards for over 100 advertising- and production companies. He directed and animated television leaders for MTV and Dutch broadcasting companies and created comics which have been published in Eisner and Zone 5300. Hisko became internationally known for his award-winning short films, such as Junkyard (2012) and directed the animation scenes in the Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck (2015). For Amazon Prime, he created the series Undone, an animated series for adults.
